You can delete your Xtactic account from Settings in the App, or email support if you no longer have access. Deletion is permanent after a short recovery window.
01Delete from the App
The fastest way to delete your Xtactic account is in the App, while you are signed in and online:
- Open Xtactic on iOS, iPadOS, Android, macOS or the web.
- Go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
You must be online so the request can reach our servers. Uninstalling the App only removes local data from that device. It does not delete your account.
02If you cannot open the App
If you no longer have access to the App, email us from the address on your account. We will verify the request and complete deletion within a reasonable time.
Write to support@xtactic.app and include the email address of the account you want deleted. If you contact us from a different address, we may ask you to confirm ownership before we act.
03What we delete
When your account is deleted:
- Teams, players, tactics, matches and field images in your personal workspace are marked for deletion and permanently removed after a short retention window (currently about 30 days), which allows recovery from accidental deletion and lets other devices finish syncing.
- Shares you sent or received are revoked, push notification tokens are removed and your device licences are released.
- Your profile is anonymised so other coaches no longer see your name.
- Content you contributed to a shared team workspace owned by someone else stays with that workspace, because it belongs to that team.
We may retain limited information where required by law, to resolve disputes or to enforce our agreements. More detail is in the Privacy Policy.
04Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel that billing separately in your store account settings if you no longer want to be charged.
