01What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Xtactic LLC, United Arab Emirates (“Xtactic”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website (the “Site”). It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small file stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixels. Laws such as the EU ePrivacy rules and GDPR, and equivalent rules elsewhere, require us to tell you what we use and to ask for consent before we set anything that is not strictly necessary.
02What we use on this Site
The Site is a marketing and information site. It does not require an account to browse, and the interactive playground runs in your browser without storing your session on our servers.
We use two kinds of storage:
- Strictly necessary — needed to run, secure and remember your cookie choice. These do not require consent.
- Analytics (optional) — Google Analytics 4 cookies, set only if you click “Accept analytics”. Refusing does not change how the Site works.
We use Google’s advanced consent mode. The Google tag loads on every page with analytics and advertising storage denied until you accept. We do not use advertising, remarketing or social-media cookies. The banner stays until you accept or choose necessary only.
03Strictly necessary items
Some storage is needed for the Site to work, stay secure, or remember a choice you have already made.
We store xtactic-cookie-consent in your browser’s local storage so we know whether you accepted or refused analytics. It stays until you change your choice or clear site data. It is not used to identify you.
The Site is served through our hosting and content-delivery network. That infrastructure may set short-lived, strictly necessary cookies (for example to route traffic, absorb abuse or apply a security check). We do not use those cookies to profile you.
When you load a page, our host may record technical details such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. We use this to operate, secure and debug the Site, not to advertise to you. Logs are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
The 3D playground keeps animation state in memory for the current visit. It does not write cookies or local storage for tracking.
04Optional Google Analytics
We load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-5GBT3GF2DQ) on every page using advanced consent mode. Before you choose, and if you refuse, these consent types stay denied: analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization. We also turn on ads-data redaction and URL passthrough so measurement can continue without storing ad or analytics cookies.
If you accept analytics, we immediately call Google’s consent update on this page (without reloading) and set analytics_storage to granted. Typical cookies then include:
- _ga — distinguishes visitors, usually up to 2 years
- _ga_* — keeps the current session state, usually up to 2 years
- _gid — distinguishes visitors for 24 hours, if Google sets it
These help us see which pages are used, roughly where visitors come from, and what device or browser they use. Advertising storage stays denied. Google’s own processing is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
If you refuse or later choose “Necessary only”, Google may still receive cookieless pings (no _ga cookies) so it can model aggregated traffic. We update consent to denied on this page and try to expire any analytics cookies already set. You can also delete them in your browser.
05What we do not use
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Other analytics or heat-map tools (no Mixpanel, Meta Pixel or similar)
- Social-media plugins that drop third-party cookies
- Cross-site advertising identifiers
06Your choices
On your first visit, and whenever you open cookie settings, you can accept analytics or keep necessary storage only. You can change that at any time:
You can also control cookies and site data in your browser, including blocking cookies or deleting what is already stored. Blocking strictly necessary storage may show the banner again or affect how the Site is delivered.
If you live in the EEA, UK or another place with similar rights, you can also contact us about access, deletion or a complaint as described in the Privacy Policy.
07Changes
If we add checkout, advertising or any other optional cookie, we will update this policy first and will not set those cookies until you have a genuine choice to accept or refuse them. The updated version will appear on this page with a new effective date.
